North End Players has been giving north Portland continuous quality theater for over 35 years. Founded in 1969 by Albert Mann. North End Players (NEP) is a true community theater, where all participants are volunteers. We are a non profit organization. Revenues are shared by the theater group, St. Andrew Episcopal Church, and the William Temple House.
NEP has produced and presented over 100 shows since its inception, featuring many of the hit plays of the 30’s through the 70’s. These plays are performed in the Albert Mann Theater, which is located in the undercroft of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, at 7600 North Hereford Portland, Or. Mr Mann directed and managed the company until the year 2000 when he turned the managing director responsibilities over to Sally Skelding.
NEP presents 3 to 4 plays per year, with 6 to 9 performances per play. The theater season runs September through June.
We are always looking for new volunteers with positions available both on and back stage. If you are interested in becoming involved with the North End Players you can contact Sally Skelding at 503 285 7356 or Tim Luke at 360 696 2354 or email us at northendplayers@comcast.net
